The scene was breathtaking..The cool serene wind was blowing soft ruffles in the desert plantation.
The huge mountains were presenting a magnificient view in the late afternoon sun.The beautifully potrayed shades of browns greens greys and blacks were filling the observers with awe and I was one of the them Alhamdulilah.
The car sped along the clear road between this beautiful landscape.
The swarm of tall, dark and fluffy teddy bear cholla (a type of cactus) sent shivers down my spine. As i was just repressing my aversion, a thought struck me.The demeanor of these plants very rightfully fulfilled its purpose.Were not these plants able to maintain their survival from predators through this alarming apparal?
I realized that surely it is only the Creator Who knows what is best for its creation whether we understand it in the first place or not.

The car kept running. I noticed that amidst the rocky mountains and the dry earth, moisture was indicated by the growth of verdant green bushes of creosote with their yellow golden flowers.At first i didnt even think that these might be some special bushes. How ignorant i was!
It made me fill with amazement and I couldnt help but praise Allah, when i came to know that these ‘common’ green plants, were capable of secreting a herbicide by themselves whenever any wild herb tried to burglarize their water in the droughty conditions! Isn’t it one of the best self defense technique ever?
I began to feel very humble.SubhanAllah! so much is happening around us and yet how unaware are we!
